Nerea Marrero Betancort (Ph.D. student) "Processing and advanced analysis of remote sensing data for the study of climate change in water areas of the Macronesia"

This thesis aims to address the processing and analysis of remote sensing data to learn about the effects of climate change on water environment of the Macaronesia. The main objective encompassess a multi-temporal study, based on data from various remote sensing sensors with different spatial scales to obtain and interpret environmental variables related to Global Change. This includes global, regional, and local areas corresponding respectively to Macaronesia, Canary Islands and coastal locations of interest in Gran Canaria.
